Lachie is an enthusiastic and committed Paralegal with cross-cutting experience across commercial law, the public service, international diplomacy, and the non-profit sector.

Before joining Aldermane, Lachie has worked in-house as a paralegal at the Department of Home Affairs and as a Clerk at Allens before joining Aldermane. Outside the law, Lachie spent six months working full-time at the Australian Permanent Mission to the United Nations (Vienna), where he performed research, drafting and reporting tasks for senior diplomats at negotiations spanning key security issues, from nuclear governance to transnational crime to public-private dispute resolution.

Lachie is in his final year at ANU studying a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) with a double specialisation in International & Comparative Law and in Corporate & Commercial Law, as well as a Bachelor of International Security Studies. At law school, Lachie has developed extensive negotiation and research experience, representing ANU and Team Australia in competitions across Australia, Sri Lanka, France, and Japan
