Laura is a detail-oriented lawyer with over 5 years’ experience working in the legal and consulting industries. She has worked across both the Commonwealth government and private sectors, and is experienced in advising Commonwealth entities on commercial legal issues including procurement, probity, and contract compliance. In a former seconded role, she was a Senior Legal Officer at the Department of Home Affairs.
Laura has also advised on a range of other commercial law matters including privacy, employment law, property law, and key contract law risks such as variation, termination, and liability.
Laura has worked across large, commercially complex, and sensitive contracts in the Australian Public Service, including providing contract management and program delivery services and support for High Value High Risk contracts, working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
