Oriana is a recently admitted junior lawyer with practical experience across employment, privacy, civil litigation, corporate governance, wills and estates and commercial law. She has had extensive privacy experience, drafting and preparing a number of Privacy Impact Assessments for different government clients including Department of Home Affairs, the Australian Taxation Office and the Attorney General’s Department. She has assisted many clients ensure they are meeting their required privacy and secrecy obligations throughout a range of different projects, whether it be by assessing the project systems itself, the privacy collection notice drafted for the purposes of the project or privacy policy of the client, as well as advising on AI use, compliance and relevant policies.
Oriana graduated from the Australian National University with a Bachelor of Law with Corporate & Commercial and International & Comparative law specialisations. Holding a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies along with her law qualifications, Oriana has a data-centric and commercial background which allows her to bring a unique perspective to different projects she advises on.
